Security Statement

Basic Security for usage of Assessify.co and related products and services.

Assessify’s Statement on Security
The security of the information you put into Assessify is very important to us. Assessify uses physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. For example, among other practices we:
  1. Regularly back up your data to help prevent data loss and aid in data recovery,
  2. Host data in secure SAS 70 audited data centers,
  3. Implement firewalls and access restrictions on our servers to secure our network and better protect your information.
Data Reliability
Assessify continuously replicates your data between physical locations to prevent data loss. Additionally, Assessify stores regular backups and has the ability to perform point-in-time recovery for more granular data recovery. Assessify uses Amazon and Azure servers to manage all user data. These servers provide us with the ability to do point-in-time recovery of our entire data
Data Privacy
Each organisation on Assessify has its own dedicated database, so your question banks, candidate details, answers, recordings and results are kept separate from every other customer. All data access is subject to numerous checks to ensure no users from outside your organisation ever see or modify your data without you explicitly granting them access.
Secure Application Development
Assessify follows best practices in all areas of application security and prevents common web attack vectors. When you enter information into Assessify, we use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the transmission of your data to our servers, which helps protect your data.
Physical Security
All of Assessify’s servers are hosted in secure, SAS 70 audited data centers.
Network Security
All servers are firewalled to permit the minimum traffic necessary to run the service, and access to those servers is limited to Assessify employees with a legitimate business need.
Security and privacy features available in Assessify
In an Assessify workspace, administrators use role-based permissions to decide who can create assessments, manage question banks, view candidate details and evaluate results. Team members can sign in with multi-factor authentication or their Microsoft work account, and candidates access only their own assessment through a secure, time-limited link.
